more mandarin lessons

we had our second weekly mandarin lesson yesterday. all in all, we’ve improved slightly; at least i’ve lost this irresistible urge to laugh whenever we parrot the instructor’s way of pronouncing things — although i couldn’t control my mouth from twitching every once in a while.
